The soulful house community has grown through the years, some of us have somehow lost the plot in following it over the years due to life's demands. Every once in a while I read about the developments in House music, and this time I read about an artist, a vocalist, who has been a part of this community for years now. Pete Simpson needs no introduction, his voice has graced many dj sets across the globe. Unfortunately, the brother is fighting cancer. Its no secrect that music doesn't make as much money as it used to and is especially difficult for a genre still rooted underground. Cancer is a very costly disease and as such a fund has been set up to help Pete on his fighting journey.
This mix is just to make you aware of Pete and his need for a united help in the HOUSE community. The tracks are played a little longer than usual just to allow you to clearly listen to the lyrics and heart Pete Simpson puts into these songs.
